It takes a community to share the Berkshires’ history – and to preserve a National Historic Landmark.
Berkshire County Historical Society memberships, tour income, and sales in the museum shop are all much appreciated – but this doesn’t cover all the costs associated with maintaining Arrowhead, the home Mr. Melville lovingly called his “old farmhouse.”
In addition to maintaining Arrowhead, the Berkshire County Historical Society preserves an extensive and growing collection of clothing, objects, photographs, books, and more telling the history of Berkshire County. The Berkshire County Historical Society is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization.
