It takes a community to share the Berkshires’ history – and to preserve a National Historic Landmark.
Historical Society memberships, tour income and sales in the museum shop are all much appreciated – but this doesn’t not cover all the costs associated with maintaining Arrowhead, the home Mr. Melville lovingly called his “old farmhouse.”
In addition to maintaining Arrowhead, the Berkshire County Historical Society preserves an extensive and growing collection of clothing, photographs, books and articles telling the history of Berkshire County. The Berkshire Historical Society is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization.
Your support helps maintain and share this collection with the public through our many exhibits and programs. Please consider supporting us today with your generous donation – it does make a difference. Thank you!
