October 22, 23, 24, 29, 30 - Melville, Haunted - Berkshire County Historical Society

This play explores Melville’s complex, tormented genius from the perspective of those who best knew, loved, venerated and feared him. The performance moves through Arrowhead, including the study where Melville penned Moby-Dick. Various characters from Melville’s life and books appear in each room.
Proceeds from this special performance benefit BCHS educational programs and preservation projects. Complete details here.

VISITING

Summer Season:
May 16 – November 2, 2026
Arrowhead is open for hourly guided tours Thursday through Monday with the first tour beginning at 10 am and the last tour at 3 pm. Arrowhead is open all Monday holidays during this time.
Adults–$22
Senior (65 and over) – $20
Students–$10
Children 12 and under–free
Reservations are not required, but you can reserve your tour ahead by clicking the Book Now button.

Grounds
Arrowhead’s nature trail and 45 acres are free and open to the public year-round from dawn to dusk. See guidelines and details here.
