Old Salts Day
Professional sailors can take a free tour on Tuesday, August 1. So if you’ve served in any country’s navy or coast guard, worked a commercial fishing boat, merchant ship, or if you can give a convincing story about the time you were a pirate, come on board! www.mobydick.org for tour times. Bring your fairy wings to a children's workshop on Sunday, August 13, from 1 to 3:00. Artist Betsy Baczek will demonstrate how to make fairy crowns, wings, wands, wearable gnome hats. $5.00 donation for materials. At Arrowhead, 780 Holmes Road, Pittsfield.
