“How to get to fairy-land, by what road, I did not know…” by Herman Melville, author of "The Piazza", written at Arrowhead in 1856. Children will collect and use nature's materials to construct houses for the Arrowhead fairies, also hear stories, and explore the nature trail. A Housatonic Heritage event. Afterwards, enjoy ice cream while strolling the lawn.
