  • children’s workshop – fairy fun!

    Bring your fairy wings to a children's workshop on Sunday, August 13, from 1 to 3:00. Artist Betsy Baczek will demonstrate how to make fairy crowns, wings, wands, wearable gnome hats.  $5.00 donation for materials.  At Arrowhead, 780 Holmes Road, Pittsfield.  Questions - please e-mail fairies@berkshirehistory.org.

  • Fairy Tea and Talk, with Jana Laiz

    Join Jana Laiz, Arrowhead's writer-in-residence. Jana will tell fascinating tales about fairies while you enjoy a special tea with scones, clotted cream, strawberries, and tea.  Historical Society members, $10; kids, $5; non-yet members, $20.  For reservations, e-mail fairies@berkshirehistory.org   This event is for the entire family.

  • Fairy House village opens

    Grand opening - all day Saturday August 19.  See artist-created fairy houses!  Refreshments. Fee to see the village includes a guided tour of Arrowhead (on the hour 10 - 5; last tour at 4). Fee for special tour, led by Fairy Queen WindRose Morris.  WindRoses's tours of village between 4 and 5.
